Your Tutor, Ms Beh Su Jane

Beh Su Jane, more commonly known to her students as Miss Beh, is an educator. She is an experienced Science Communicator and Cambridge A-Level Biology (9700) specialist since 2017. Her passion for teaching is reflected in her commitment to her students.

During the pandemic, she started recording lectures for her own students, which later birthed into her YouTube channel @behlogy, making engaging, informative, accessible content available to a global audience. As the founder and host of @behlogy, Miss Beh is responsible for creating and delivering high-quality educational content to her audience. She has a proven track record of success, with the growth of 0 to 7,000 YouTube subscribers and the building of a small business selling notes in a short span of less than 2 years. 

In addition to her YouTube channel, Miss Beh was also a full-time lecturer at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL), where she taught over 200 students Cambridge A-Level Biology and Australian Matriculation (WACE) Biology. 65% of her Biology students scored As and A*s in their Cambridge A-Level Biology examinations. She is currently an Executive Assistant with managerial, administrative, and curriculum-writing roles at TSC Early Childhood Education Group. 

Academically, Miss Beh was also a straight-A Cambridge A-Level student, who was awarded the MCKL Teaching Scholarship. With the help of the scholarship, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a 2:1 at the University of York, UK. She also has a Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning.  

She believes in whole-person education, and was thus involved in coaching student leaders, speaking talks at student events and camps, and acting as an advisor for student committees throughout her career. She has a vested interest in mental health and Biblical counselling and wants to understand the human heart and the need for God in a deeper manner. During her free time, she enjoys watching food-related YouTube videos, cooking, eating, sleeping, listening to musicals, and watching movies.
