As Bursa Malaysia takes the lead in regulating listed companies to comply with TCFD-aligned disclosures—mandatory for Main Market issuers with financial year ending on or after 31 December 2025—there is a growing demand for professionals equipped to support these requirements. Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for the ACCA Professional Diploma in Sustainability (ProDipSust); however, a foundational level of accounting knowledge is assumed. This assumed knowledge typically aligns with the expertise of a professional accountant (e.g., ACCA-qualified), an accounting graduate, or someone with two to three years of full-time accounting experience.
The syllabus covers complex topics, including governance, financial reporting, and regulatory frameworks. Therefore, individuals with limited accounting knowledge may find the content challenging, as it requires familiarity with key concepts and terminologies commonly used in these areas.

Examinations
Exam Format
- The ProDipSust is a 3-hour 15-minute computer-based examination held in person at designated centers.
- Candidates can also opt for remote invigilation, allowing them to take the exam from a remote location.
- Enrollment with ACCA is required to sit for the examination.
Exam Structure
- The examination is an integrated case study with a series of exhibits and three tasks, each containing multiple requirements:
- Task 1: Focused on Syllabus Area B.
- Task 2: Focused on Syllabus Area C.
- Task 3: Focused on Syllabus Area D.
- Syllabus Area A underpins the entire exam, providing foundational frameworks and regulations. Ethics from Syllabus Area A will also be specifically examined, contributing 10 marks split across any two of the three tasks.
- Each task is worth 30-35 marks, comprising a mix of computational and discursive requirements. All tasks and requirements are compulsory.
- Overall pass mark is 50%.
Exam Fees and Resources
- Examination Fee: GBP 300.00 (as of 2025).
- Enrollment includes access to approximately 3 hours of video resources, covering:
- Exam structure and format.
- Exam techniques.
- Brief Recap of key syllabus areas.
- Optional ACCA Learning Bundle (to enroll with ACCA Learning):
- GBP 950 for ACCA members.
- GBP 1,300 for non-ACCA members.
- Includes additional learning resources to help candidates prepare for the exam.

- Alternatively, candidates can enroll with Genesis Origo, an independent learning provider, offering comprehensive preparation for the ProDipSust exam:
- Fee: RM 2,800.00 (HRD Corp claimable).
