How Much Does LCCI cost?

Affordability of Professional Accounting Qualification

To complete LCCI Level 2 and Level 3, you only need to invest approximately RM8,000 to RM10,000 over a period of roughly 18 months. This will earn you a Diploma from LCCI. If you already possess a basic understanding of accounting from school or work experience, you can begin your LCCI studies at Level 3. Reach out to us for guidance.

Once you have your LCCI Diploma, you may choose to enter the job market or continue your education with the ACCA Professional qualification. The LCCI Diploma allows you to complete ACCA in the shortest time of 2.5 years, at an estimated cost of RM18,000 for tuition fees and RM10,000 for exam fees.

LCCI Graduates

Upon graduation, LCCI graduates can expect a salary ranging from RM2,000 to RM2,500 when joining small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Although LCCI graduates typically start in entry-level positions at SMEs, they are well-regarded in the industry, and many are promoted to managerial roles after gaining years of experience. It is not uncommon for LCCI graduates with 4 to 5 years of experience to earn monthly salaries of RM3,500 to RM4,500.

ACCA Graduates

ACCA graduates can anticipate a starting salary of RM3,600 to RM4,200 when joining medium to large-sized public accounting firms. Upon promotion to a managerial level within the Big 4 accounting firms, their remuneration often reaches five-digit figures.

Upon completing your LCCI diploma, you may consider advancing your education by pursuing the ACCA professional qualification. This highly respected credential offers in-depth knowledge and is highly sought after within the industry.

ACCA-FIA an alternative to LCCI

In November 2022, Pearson announced the discontinuation of LCCI examinations after 2023. As a result, students considering LCCI will need to explore alternative qualifications. We recommend that our students pursue the ACCA-FIA (Foundations in Accountancy). Designed and awarded by ACCA, the FIA qualification can be completed in approximately 9 months. Upon finishing ACCA FIA, students will receive three Diplomas at RQF Levels 2, 3, and 4.
