Interviewing our ACCA FR Prizewinner
Ms. Ong Jing Xuan was our ACCA FR Malaysia Prizewinner for the December 2023 exam, achieving a remarkable score of 82 marks and securing the top prize in Malaysia. In the same examination, another of our students, Ms. Wong Hui Yan, achieved an impressive score of 81 marks, just one point shy of being a joint prizewinner.
Another significant accomplishment in the December 2023 exam was our 100% pass rate for the ACCA SBL papers. Every one of our SBL students who took the December 2023 exams successfully passed.
We conducted an informal interview session with Jing Xuan, where she was asked to share her study strategies. The questions posed during the interview included:
- Do you join Live Zoom or just study online?
- Do you missed zoom sessions? (Like due to work commitment)
- Is Live classes better than watching online videos?
- Do you rewatch the videos since you have attended the zoom live sessions?
- Do you copy down the notes or use 2 computers or just sit and listen?
- How do you manage your time between studying and working?
- How many hours do you allocate for your studies?
- What is your academic background? (Arts or Science stream)
- Since you do not have an accounting background do you find it hard to follow in your studies?
- Do you see speedup while watching our class videos?
- Do you set a specific duration of time when you are studying or revising?
- Which is better? Study bit by bit everyday or study intensively in a day?
- How does your ACCA studies relevant or helpful in your work?
- How do you find your study progress is too slow or acceptable?
